Aathmaanaam Sigh's - ஐய்யோ - Page 172

Ah

If said they forget
if written they dispose
if attacked they uphold
if not doing anything they attack
wonderful world
wonderful animals

Footnote: Simply displeased ... It is debatable about the poetic value this text carries

  3. This poem is almost like a grumble..a mumble..A dissatisfaction let out in a few lines. There is a playfulness in it and an unabashed criticism or truth about our society. And the use of the word 'wonderful,' is charming as it topples the argument and begins to enjoy all the contradictions of our world.

    Dad's version

    Aiyoo

    If told, forgotten
    If written, rejected
    If quiet, they attack
    If attacked, they bare
    Wonderful world
    wonderful creatures
